Cisplatin Clinical Trial Study
The authors report on a study of 250 patients to determine whether survival rates improve for those givencisplatin AND raltitrexed versus cisplatin alone. Raltitrexed is an antifolate (as is pemetrexed, which has been found to increase survival rate when combined with cisplatin). The study results demonstrated an improved survival rate for those given a combination of ralitrexed and cisplatin.
